Outreach material

We welcome all countries, organizations and interested individuals to make use of the posters, logos, action cards, social media kit and outreach videos in their celebration of World Wildlife Day 2017

Official posters

The posters were created by Mohammed Elnour, Michael Gerver, Deborah Sommers, online volunteers mobilized through UNV. The posters are also available in higher resolution on our Flickr page.

The World Wildlife Day logo is available in the 6 official languages of the United Nations, i.e. Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish. Higher resolution versions in jpg format can be downloaded here. Vector format images are best for designers and for printing.

Action card

You are encouraged to take a photo with the action card (colour and black & white) and share it on social media and show your support.

Social media kit

We have prepared a social media package (pdf) with a brief introduction to World Wildlife Day 2017, suggested hashtags and messages for various social medial tools.

And you're welcome to use the cool WWD2017 headers for your Facebook and Twitter pages.

Outreach videos

This is the official outreach video for World Wildlife Day 2017 created with the generous support of our partner Youth for Wildlife Conservation (Y4WC) to highlight this year's theme "Listen to the young voices".

This outreach video for World Wildlife Day 2017 was created by Taegen Yardley with her friends and teacher.

This outreach video (PSA), titled "Let them live", is produced by UN Environment to raise awareness of the crisis facing African elephants.

The video below, produced by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) on behalf of the International Consortium on Combating Wildlife Crime (ICCWC), is aimed to raise awareness of wildlife crime.
