Stand Up #FortheWildlife Fundraiser Event for World Veterinary Day is on April 26th at The Lennox Head Cultural Centre.
This very special fundraiser event is taking place on April 26th at the Lennox Head Cultural Centre. The fundraiser is called Stand Up #ForTheWildlife and aims to gather support for our hospital's vital work, which includes providing professional veterinary care to all native Australian wildlife species. The fundraiser is scheduled one day before World Veterinary Day to raise awareness and appreciation for veterinarians all over the globe.
 
The event will feature entertainment, including:
* A screening of "Wildlife Rescue," a TV show produced about our hospital.
* A Comedy Show set by an Australian Comedian (announcement coming soon) .
* Drinks and Food
* Silent Auction of art, experiences and vouchers.

Get excited about Logan's native wildlife and celebrate World Wildlife Day as you get the chance to meet to native animals and learn more from wildlife experts!

Adults will learn more about local wildlife and ways to help them on your property, including practical tips to make your backyards more wildlife friendly. You'll also get the opportunity to find out how you can help local organisations rescue and care for our wildlife, as well as ask Council's environment officers any questions.

Kids will get up close with Logan's RSPCA Animal Ambulance and native wildlife from Geckoes. They'll discover the local habitat's wildlife live in, what they need to survive and how to spy them when adventuring in Logan's natural areas.

Celebrate World Wildlife Day with our local wildlife. Discover the different species that call Victoria home. Some of these elusive animals might be living in your own backyard and this is your chance to meet them up close. Eastern blue-tongue lizards, bearded dragons, eastern long-necked turtles, carpet pythons, owls, frogs and sugar-gliders are some of the animals that you'll get to meet on the day. You will be amazed by the biodiversity that can be found right on your doorstep.

This is an indoors event. Meet at the Visitor Centre at Blackburn Lake Sanctuary. Entry to the carpark near Visitor Centre is from Central Road opposite Gwenda Avenue. There is ample parking along Central Road as well.

This is a free event but tickets are limited, hence registration is mandatory. Tickets need to be booked for children only, adults accompanying children don't need to book a ticket. Adult supervision of children is mandatory.

If you have booked but can't attend please cancel your ticket to make your spot available to others.

The event will be cancelled if there is a Total Fire Ban.
